Angelica Valdez is a serious and responsible young lady. As the economic crisis takes hold she loses her job and at the same time finds out that her mother urgently needs a life saving operation.

In dire straits she meets by chance a young couple – Miguel Angel and Laura Diaz Lozano whose marriage is on the rocks. Desperate to save her marriage Laura suggests that Angelica carry the child Miguel Angel so desperately wants in return for money that can be used to pay for her mother´s operation.

Knowing that accepting this offer would mean sacrificing all that she values in life: the love of her boyfriend Daniel, the respect of her aunt and sister; and worst of all, handing over the baby she will have conceived… her own child she makes a decision that will change her life forever and accepts Laura´s proposal.

By chance Miguel Angel meets and falls in love with Angelica without any hope of her accepting him given that he´s a married man and unknown to him that she´s the woman who´s carrying his baby. At the same time as fate would have it Aldo, Miguel Angel´s brother also meets Angelica and falls in love with her without knowing that she´s the woman his brother loves and at the same time hates.

And thus this story of intertwining loves and controversial passions unravels. The story of a couple whose son conceived by artificial insemination is inevitably changed by destiny to become a child of love.
